Four simple steps you can take to preserve open space at Allan Witt Park:
  1. Customize and send an email to the City Council demanding that voters be allowed to decide the future of Allan Witt Park
  2. Print flyers and petitions to let people know what is being proposed and collect signatures to stop the sale of public park land for private development
  3. Call individual City Council members and send them individual email - the email address links and phone numbers can be found here
  4. Send Letters to the Editor of the Daily Republic and the Vacaville Reporter - submission restrictions and resources can be found here

SUBJECT: LET FAIRFIELD VOTE ON THE ALLAN WITT PARK PROJECT
MESSAGE: Dear City Council Member: Approval of the Allan Witt Project should be placed on the ballot. The voters should have the opportunity to decide whether to sacrifice a significant portion of Fairfield's oldest and largest community park. Once it is gone, it is gone forever. This decision must not be made without the majority support of the voters. I urge you to take the necessary steps to place this decision on the ballot to let the voters decide.

Respectfully,
(your name)
