Four
simple steps you can take to preserve open space at Allan Witt Park:
- Customize and send an email
to the City Council demanding that voters be allowed to decide the
future of Allan Witt Park
- Print flyers and petitions
to let people know what is being proposed and collect signatures to
stop the sale of public park land for private development
- Call individual City Council members and send
them individual email - the email address links
and phone numbers can be found here
- Send Letters to the Editor of the Daily Republic and the Vacaville
Reporter - submission restrictions and resources can be found here

SUBJECT:
LET FAIRFIELD VOTE
ON THE ALLAN WITT PARK PROJECT
|
MESSAGE: Dear City Council Member: Approval of the
Allan
Witt Project should be placed on the ballot. The voters should have the
opportunity to decide whether to sacrifice a significant portion of
Fairfield's oldest and largest community park. Once it is gone, it is
gone forever. This decision must not be made without the majority
support of the voters. I urge you to take the necessary steps to place
this decision on the ballot to let the voters decide.
Respectfully,
(your name)
